About Angelica Timas

Although Angelica Timas was born in Cape Verde Island, her parents moved to Portugal when she was just months old. At age 15 her parents move yet again to Boston, MA, where she completed high school, undecided between voices of passion and a reason, a degree in fashion was not an option early on in life.

Angelica earned two Master’s degrees in Professional Studies in Informatics and Computer Science though her plan to pursue her PH.D in the same field was place on hold when she decided to pursue her passion for fashion.  A full time Senior Software Developer, wife, mother and CEO of her brand Angelica Timas, her dream is surely a reality.

With no formal training in fashion Angelica has mastered her skills by self-taught knowledge and true passion for what she envisions in her work.  The aesthetic of her collections are inspired by various passions: Her culture, her history, nature, her love for architecture and the simple things that life has to offer.

“I design primarily for the woman who shares the same traits as Chikke, the versatile woman who is also a trendsetter who is bold, simple, but very elegant and chic.” Angelica Timas

Determining Your Size

To find your correct size, use a tape measure and check these measurements:

 Body Measurement

1 - Bust
Measure under your armpits, around your shoulder blades, and over the fullest part of your bust.
Don't pull the tape measure too hard. For fitting a bra, you also need the measurement just under your bust.

2 - Waist
Measure around your natural waistline. This is the narrow part of your waist, approximately an inch above your navel.
Relax and breath out before you measure.

3 - Hip
The hip should be measured around its fullest part (about 8 inches below your waist).

4 - Inseam
This is the measurement groin to your ankle. This can also be measured on a pair of trousers with the proper length.
